SPONTANEOUS URBAN EXPLORATION …

…  yesterday in Hamburg -Wilhelmsburg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelmsburg,_Hamburg). Sometimes the way is (not always exactly so) the goal but an important part of it. This was absolutely the case on Wednesday, December 28th, 2016.

01
Moorburg power plant.
02
Waiting in front of Kattwyk bridge …
03
… because of that massive vehicle!
04
Hamburg port has many bridges to cross . This one’s new Rethe bridge.
05
And last not least Rethe balance bridge.
06
Driving along Reiherstieg Hauptdeich one  suddenly sees part of the newly erected Elbphilharmonie roof construction  above the building at Ernst-August-Deich 57.
07
Parking opposite of Fährstraße 115  in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg.
08
Painted wall stabilizing the dike oppopsite of Fahrstraße.
09
Walking along Vogelhüttendeich …
10
… seems being my karma!
11
The urban explorer at Stübenplatz.
12
View of northern part of Veringstraße.
13
Site at Sanitasstraße 17. No new buildings have been erected yet.
14
Therefore lots of  art activities had taken place in the past.
15
For example this beautiful wooden palm tree …
16
… and the young man who’d made it.
17
Obviously Wilhelmsburg is also home of the mystic unicorn.
18
A little tremulous but who cares. Still on Sanitasstraße.
19
Smoking up a little on Fährstraße?
20
Good bye for this time!
