ARTIST IN SEINE SENDS ME FLASHING SCULPTURE …

… and I’m more than delighted. It’s a beautiful piece that also arrived yesterday. A rather thin black cardboard box showing the famous HAPTIC WEREWOLF logo (https://www.google.de/search?q=The+Haptic+Werewolf+Strikes+Again&biw=1152&bih=564&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiFpenerabLAhWpHpoKHd0bDBUQ_AUIBygC):

I
Front view of the box of 28,5 cm x 18,5 cm x 2,5 cm.

But it’s re rear side that has got the real kick, namely a “window” covered with transparent plastic. One can see five tubes and several tiny flashing light bulbs getting their energy for continuing flashing from small batteries. All of the stuff has been put in kind of loosely, and therefore you can shake the whole thing to see a flashing bright red light then.

The “flashing” rear side.

A wonderful item, dear Artist In Seine! MERCI BEAUCOUP!! THANKS!!! DANKE SCHÖN!!!!

Couldn’t thake a picture showing the red flashing light – sorry!

  1. The Artist in Seine is super tech! And you, Erni, also create fantastic “sculpture”.

  2. Happy it arrived without any of the glass tubes being broken. Although I thought it would have been cool if one of them got broken.
A few more details for your blog: The box is from the six senses Mail Art you sent me on 27 Oct 2011. This box was from the incense sticks & stand.
This piece had been ready for months, and I was waiting for a Monday to send it so you would get it before the batteries went dead.
Finally the perfect date came around, Monday, 29 Feb 2016. So the cancelled stamps are on this date.
Also one stamp is from 1985 and is in French Francs, but it still worked !
The title of this one is: “Saving our Treasures”. An on going dilemma of what to do with all the Mail Art we receive.
Keep shaking it, my guess is that the red flashing light with last for years.
Thanks for the wonderful blog & happy you enjoyed it.
